Congratulations to Chris, Commercial Manager AsiaPac Region, who is February’s Employee of the Month. Luckily enough, Adam our CTO was visiting the Esendex Australia office this week so he could hand over the (very heavy) award in person. Note – a patriotic pic the left of Adam.

Chris-Bartlett

Chris was nominated by the Management Team as despite being many thousands of miles from Head Office he has always sought to challenge the status quo: particularly in looking at new pricing models and sales initiatives.

He’s always interested in the business’ performance and profitability and has a keen eye for detail. This keen eye was fundamental in resolving some business process issues at the start of the month, so thanks Chris! Enjoy the award!

CSIRO, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, is Australia’s national science agency and one of the largest and most diverse research agencies in the world. They approached us last year as they were looking to add SMS functionality to a project of theirs  – The irriGATEWAY project.

Echo has been available for several months within our Beta Zone but at 10:00 GMT today Echo Version 1.0 will be released into the wild as a live application.

It will be the default for all new customers, although of course our “classic” Web SMS application is still available and supported for both new and existing customers.

A quick tour will highlight just how big a step forward Echo is over our current version of Web SMS – with a more intuitive navigation, useful new functionality such as mail merging bulk SMS sends direct from an Excel spreadsheet , and a far more attractive and consistent design.  (more…)

One SMS is much like another, right? So why are everybody’s prices different?

Esendex has never sought to be a least-cost router although we’ve always tried to be competitive. Our pricing policy is based on 4 basic principles:

  1. Keep it simple
  2. The more you spend, the lower the price
  3. The greater your commitment, the lower the price
  4. Esendex needs to be a profitable business to offer a viable, long term Business SMS Service.  (more…)

It’s cheaper, quicker and more likely to be read.  (more…)

The new look www.esendex.com.au goes live today! It’s been a little while coming but this major update takes on some proven learning from our international sites.

  • The information is better laid out – and easier to update
  • The dedicated Developer Zones and Support Site provide detailed information for more technical enquiries
  • Company Blogs, including Support and Developer Blogs, allow us to deliver frequent and less formal information updates. All blogs also support RSS and email subscription
  • The login bar is simpler, and more consistent – you’ll see this in the top right of the home page. Once logged in a simple navigation system provides access to both your Esendex services and your company and account details.

We hope you like the update as much as we do – we’d welcome your thoughts
